Abravanel Lodge & Brooklyn Cyclones Baseball!

 In Events, Square Club
On Monday, June 20th, 2016, Abravanel Lodge #1116   attended a minor league baseball game at MCU Park in Coney Island.  We were approximately 10 brothers, plus prospective pledges and Master Matsas’ father and his son.
The weather was perfect, and we enjoyed a beautiful full moon on the summer solstice. It was the Cyclones’ highest scoring game of the season, and after many lead changes, the final score was 10-9 for the visiting team – the Tri-City Valley Cats, however, Brooklyn won 2-1 overall in the 3 games between the teams this past week.
It was past Master’s Elliot Buscemi’s birthday that day and we all wished him Mazel Tov over the phone.
We shared a few beers and plenty of food.  And at the end of the night, many of us went to brother Kenny Buscemi’s house to continue the good time.
It was a great event and we will have many more to come in the future.
